My wife and I stayed with Phylis and we had a wonderful time - she is very nice - we were able to leave the Jeep right there and walk to Cruz Bay - we did it several times a day - great exercise - one word of warning - if anyone is going to be there for carnival just understand that you can hear the music VERY well late into the night - but if you are down there partying what is the difference

My wife and I just spent the first week of March at Hillcrest Guest House. The previous week we rented The Tamarind with 2 other couples. We were very satisfied with our stay with Phyllis at Hillcrest. We had the Tropical Garden Suite which is off the main street, in the back. The rooms in the front had more road noise, what with us there at Spring Break. Give an 18 yr old a drink and see how stupid they can become. Lucky for you that won't be a problem for an April visit. As I'm sure you've read, the Hillcrest is at the top of a rather steep hill. If you're in decent shape you can make the hill without a coronary. She has a nice patio area for you to relax and enjoy a Carib or two or Painkiller or two and a great view of the harbor. Have fun! Tom and Sandy

I'm contacting you because my husband and I are spending a week at Hillcrest mid April. I've spoken with Phylis several times and from other comments, I know we'll be very pleased. Couldn't help but feel a connection with you! Tom and Sandi K.

Tom and Sandi, I am so excited about our trip .We rented the front suite for 10days. April 20-30. I planned this trip on my own and my husband paid for it. What a deal! I originally found Hillcrest on the St John tourism bord website and did a lot of research. We can seem to find a car rental though, but im not going to worry. Thats what the trip is all about .No worries!!!!! Phyllis seems to be a very nice person. You have a great trip too.!!!!! Janice
