I have a young couple going to St. Thomas in august for a honeymoon. Would like a suggestion for a good hotel to stay at.

Personally I would recommend Caneel Bay on St. John as a honeymoon destination. I know you said St. Thomas but none of the St. Thomas hotels jump out at me like Caneel does. 🙂

We just came back from Sugar Bay Wyndham in St. Thomas - and had a fantastic time. There were at least 2 weddings a day there. It is either all inclusive or room only - we opted for all inclusive and were not disappointed.

Go to St. John and stay in a private villa with a private pool. Privacy is everything for a honeymoon.

Pavilions & Pools on St Thomas. Your own private little villa with pool, walls on three sides and cliff overlooking the ocean. Walk into the Villa, take off you clothes and chill until you leave your private villa again.

Doesn't get better than that for a honeymoon!
