My fiance' and I are going to Tortola for our honeymoon and our flight comes in to St. Thomas on a Sunday around 2:30pm. Someone told us that the last ferry runs at 3:30pm, is this true? Should we be taking a ferry from Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook? Thanks for the help!!

Look under the quick link section on the top right hand side of VINOW page

The ferry schedules are there

But I am sure there are some folks that can add some hints to make it easier

the ferry is the only way short of a private boat or a long swim! But you will need to clear customs in STJ.

You will not need to clear US Customs in STJ on the way to Tortola. There are also water taxis available from STT to Tortola.

I would take the Native Son out of Red Hook- you can find the schedule of the ferry on this website. You clear customs when you arrive in Tortola. On the way back is when you have to clear customs in St Johm.

The ferry is only about a half hour ride.

We just did this trip and we had a great time- stayed in Cane Garden Bay---Myett's has really good food and so does the Banana Holding Co. right on the beach. We stayed at The Old Works Inn.

If you are leaving from Red Hook- the ferry leaves--This is for the Native Son--
7:45am
10:00 am
11:45am
3:15pm
5:00pm

Have fun!!

you can find the copy of the ferry schedule in the ferry terminal.
