how far is anguilla and st. martin from st thomas

i read on another forum that st. martin is only a 20 min. boat ride from anguilla,so was wondering how far anguilla is from st. thomas. could you take a plane [or boat] to st. martin in a short period of time? just wondering, always wanted to see st. martin. thanks for the info scooby

St. Maarten is about a 40 minute plane ride from St. Thomas. You can't take a boat there.

Aguilla is a 10-15 minute ferry ride from St Martin. Both islands have airports, but Anguilla takes smaller planes. Great beaches.

I have to add that St Martin is a real kick- it isn't as great as my beloved STJ but we went last March, stayed at Le Meridien on the french side and had a good time. Snorkling isn't so great, food is better, beaches are mediocre, people were friendly, and we took a totally great day charter to Anguilla which was wonderful. But it sure as heck is no where near the USVIs so this is definately a separate trip.
