How much time do we allow from Airport to RH ferry departure with stop at market?

If we would like to catch the 3:00 ferry in RH...

We will need to turn in the rental car at the Airport Budget counter and would like to grab some supplies at Marina Market by the ferry dock, what time do you suggest we be at the airport?

Thanks! I have no idea how far RH is or about any traffic situations we may have to deal with. Need to know how much leeway to give us.

To be safe, I'd give yourself an hour of taxi time from the airport to Red Hook.

Chrisin,

I assume that you are turning in your car and then visiting St John. It took us an hour to drive from the airport to Red Hook at that time of day. It's not far, but traffic is slow.

If you have the option of taking your rental car to St John do that.
