Hurricane Dean - a big fizzle on STX

We seemed to have dodged a bullet here of STX. A little wind, less rain, power off twice for short periods. I guess this could be viewed as a practice run for the remaining season.

But seriously, do the weather people EVER get it right. Yesterday they were saying we'd get winds strong enough to break telephone polls...NOT.

It is pretty windly and cloudy today. Definitely not a beach day -- although I do see people at the beach and pool!

Glad to hear that. We arrive in the VI on Saturday and will be staying for 8 days at the Westin St. John. Was hoping to miss any hurricane activity!!!
