After having no internet for 3 weeks and no success and receiving a new modem from my provider (at least not yet), Sloop came to our rescue! He is now doing Dish Network, Hughes Net and Direct TV and he is located in STJ as many of you know. We were able to purchase a modem from him and now my life can get back to normal! YAHOO! (tu)

An internet vacation, not the kind that anyone would like! I actually cleaned my house! lol! (just kidding).
It was nice to know I was missed.

Sherri - during your Internet vacation did you start getting various twitches... fingers searching for the keyboard. 😛 Just teasing, welcome back!

Chris, that is too funny!!
PS: For others who might not get it, Sloop Jones in addition to working with the Internet & TV related things Sherri mentioned also paints. He is well known on St. John for his painted cloths; and you can also find his work in some shops on St. Thomas.

Tho I wasn't the one to go to STJ to get our new modem, I was told that Sloop was covered with paint and that he had about 20 items hanging on the line to dry. I wish I could have gone, but had to do an airport p/u for a villa.

MAJOR WITHDRAWALS! We now plan to keep a modem for back up! That will NOT happen to me again!
