Good Morning,

I was wondering what the update is on Island Blues on STJ. I understand they were closed back in May/June and were looking to sell. Does anyone know if they ever got sold and if they are open for business? Any reviews on them if they have reopened? We are frequent visitors to STJ, always stay out in Coral Bay and stopped at Island Blues everyday on our way back to our villa. We'll be there in 10 days and are just wondering what the scoop is.....! Thanks.

They are open and I have heard mixed reviews, some great some not so great. Here is a link to some great info on the new owners and the menu

Good Morning Xislandgirl, thank you for the response and the link to read about Island Blues. After reading it you definately get the impression that there is lots of mixed reviews. Most people seem angry at the prices and the fact that some of their favorites are not on the menu or special board anymore.

We will definately stop by on our way up to the villa a week from Sunday for one of our first island beverages.

Thanks again.

I hit up some folks who have recently been there. Positive comments for crab cake sandwich, chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, fries and onion rings.

Good riffs on the myspace site, Roots of Creation is new good tunes for me.
