Say the name of a good mid priced Italina Resturant but failed to take a good note.

Any suggestions within the night safety zone?

Right next to the Hard Rock is Fagioli's. Fantastic Italian food. Virgilio's used to be known as the best...until the chef left and opened Fagioli's (rumor I heard). Both are wonderful. Romano's in Smith Bay and East End Cafe in Red Hook are both good, too. But you will need to taxi or drive to those two.

Mahalo....Seems like I won't have to brave the dangerous areas after all.

Is there a map of resturants and could I get some hints on safe areas from that map?

There is a great magazine called "Menu, please" available at the airport or your hotel. Lost of good info in that one.
