Hi all,

Just trying to get a final head count for our get together at the Toad and Tart on Saturday the 17th of January.

IAMolly 8 guests

Sapphire 2 guests

Lip ?

Space is limited in the "Cozy" at the Toad and Tart but I think that their may be room for a few more. If you would like to meet up with some veteran VI travelers and enjoy a great meal, It would be great to meet you.

Molly

Wow! I don't know 8 people on island well enough yet. Maybe after this get together. It's a hoot, Molly. We probably live less than a 100 miles apart and go to STT to meet. Anyway, looking forward to it.

Sapphire, you're too funny! Although we have met many new friends in STT it will be some midwestern friends joining us this time. Once word got out that we had property on a caribbean island all of our friends have wanted to come down with us and have a grand tour of the island.

I'd like to meet you all, but we won't be in STT until the 18th. I used to be a condo owner at Point Pleasant, but I wasn't able to come down much, and didn't get to meet many people. Coming back to PP on the 18th for a 5 days (not long enough), getting married on Sugar Beach on Tuesday. Can't wait for some sun...... freezing in New Hampshire. Would love to meet some new island friends.

tamlyn63,

Sorry that you will not be able to meet up with the rest on the 17th but please don't be shy, post a date and a place and see if other USVI enthusiests would like to join you on the dates that you are in town. Their is no monopoly on this board of whos who, thats what we all like so much about the islands. I challenge you to post a date and see who else is in town and plan a place for dinner.

meliajane I'm sending you a PM

Hi there,

We are also from NH and heading to STJ on the 11 to the 19. We were married in STT and loved every minute of it. Love to go back every year.

Good luck with your wedding!

Is this dinner open to anyone? We will be down there from the 11th to 19th. Not sure what our plans are for the 17th. There are 5 of us from the New England area. We love to meet new friends who enjoy the island as much as we do.

smmcarthy18,

Yes the dinner is open to anyone, we just need to get a head count and make sure that their is enough space for everyone to fit in the dining room at the Toad and Tart. It would be nice to meet you. I'm not sure if we established a time yet for Saturday night, we are flexible so what works best for you guys?

Join us Sm. Molly, any time is okay with us. Just let me know. If it runs late us "oldies" can't miss our nap in the afternoon. We're almost there--so excited.

How about we meet up around 6:30 and plan on dining around 7:00. That should give us plenty of time to get our afternoon rest time in. Sapphire, I just checked out our 7 day forecast and it is calling for a high temp next week of 0 degrees, we'll be escaping the midwest in the nick of time. smccarthy18 can we count you and your group in for dinner?
