Hello all,
About ready to book my jeep for my late july visit to St. John. CAN'T WAIT! Any recomendations on who to rent from? Who has the nicest jeeps, newest and best service. Parking in town is a must. Thanks for the help!
Boat drinks!

We used St John Car Rental and were very satisfied with them. We switched to Penn's after reading many positive comments about them. I don't usually switch when I've found someone that i like working with, but the comments about Penn's were just so warm and appreciative, that i thought I'd give them a try. They more than met our expectations and we're sticking with them. But if, for some reason, Penn's couldn't accomodate us, we wouldn't hesitate to use SJCR again. Both have lots in town that customers are free to use. They don't guarantee you a parking space, but you're welcome to use their lot if there is space.

For the past couple of visits my husband and I have booked a jeep through Budget right at STT. This year we had a brand new 2007 jeep....my husband really enjoyed that! Very convenient when departing: just drop off and hop on your plane!

Definitely get one at STT airport, it will cost you at least $100 less than on STJ.

Philly Sean -- lets not open up can a worms here and renew the STT v. STJ rental car debate. I think there are definitely some pros/cons to doing that and it is a little deceiving to say that is $100 cheaper and leave it at that.

Thanks for all the info guys.

I ended up going with St. John Jeep rentals. I've heard good things and they are close to the ferry dock on STJ. I didn't want to rent on STT because of the car ferry prices and the issue if something happens to a STT jeep on STJ there are problems.

thanks!
