I know it has been discussed ad nausem on this board, but I guess I'll continue. Staying at Concordia on St. John and was wondering who/where i should rent from. I've noticed the discussion of renting on STT with national companies vs. local and ferrying over to STJ. This seem less complicated but with certian restrictions.
What about renting on STJ? Anyone have a particular company that is great or a company to avoid? I have a list, but would rather not go blind into the process.
We used CC rentals on STJ. They were very accommodating and let us park in their lot when in Cruz Bay. Rate was competitive with the normal group ~$330/week for a Suzuki jeep.
We've rented from St John Car Rental several times and have always been very satisfied. Usually, if I've found something I'm happy with, I stay with it. Next time , though, I'm going to try Penn's. Their customers seem to speak so warmly of them. Also, when you reserve, they don't want a credit card to hold it. They work on trust and honor. I like to support people who work on trust and honor.
Will St. John Car Rental let you use their lot for parking in Cruz Bay as many people have mentioned the rental places do?
We rented a villa near coral bay through Destination St. John and they made arrangements for a car through STJ Car Rental. Since we will most likely be coming into Cruz Bay I would appreciate not having to worry about parking.
