Hello all,
i have been to St Thomas about 40 times. this year for the first time I will be there over the 3rd and 4th of July. Ill be staying at Sapphire Beach (my favorite for snorkeling), I'm planning to take in the parade on St John; but I was wondering if I will be able to see fireworks from our hotel. I would like to get back to STT before the madness but would also like to view the fireworks. any suggestions??

also should my son and I go to St John both the 3rd and 4th I have heard that there are parades and festivities both days?
thank you for your help and support.

Hi There,
A couple of years ago we spent the evening of the 4th of July having dinner at Agave, and from there we saw fireworks. Not a grand display as you may be used to seeing from a big city, and not all were very high, so a cay might block your view depending upon where you are. A boat might be a good option. It was a perfect 4th.

Redhook was crazy busy that night and very hot and crowded with cars lining the road where you are not supposed to park. We were glad to not be a part of the madness there but instead enjoying the evening at Agave Terrace.

Enjoy your trip!
