Looking for local advice. Is the party monday, july 11th?

Also, is Miss Lucy's open the 1st two weeks of July for full moon? If so, do you recommend the party?

If not, where?

Or, how do you recommend we get to Bomba's or another Tortola bar? I was thinking water taxi?

Regards,
Shamrok Gal

I don't know the answer to your question -- but husband and I will be there then, too, and would love to make it if this party is going on while we are there!

Just called Miss Lucy's and there will be a Full Moon party on July 11th from 600-900 PM. They said that reservations weren't necessary and they start serving drinks whenever the bartender gets set-up...530-545. Maybe Judy and I will see you there....

Thanks Kurt!!!

My husband & I will be there and hope to see you both. We cannot wait. By that time, I'll be the petite, red, brunette.

Red????!!!!! Hope that doesn't mean you plan on getting burnt!!!!
Also, July 11th is Tuesday, not Monday.....don't want you to miss the festivities. We lose track of time and days once we depart the plane.

When they say that reservations aren't necessary, what they mean is that they don't take them, not that it's not going to fill up. It won't be as crowded during the summer as during the busy season, but I'd still want to be there early. I'd definitely want to be sitting outside so I could actually see the moonrise.

We went once and it was different than what I guess I'd expected. It didn't have a party feel. Just dinner with some music and a lot more crowded than usual. Certainly not like the full moon events in the BVI. I don't think I'd go again. I'd go the day before or after----get the moonrise without the crowd.
