HI!!

Could anyone tell me what part of the Virgin Islands frequents the most?????? I know he has 2 homes in the Islands but I'm not sure where.

Whereever he spends his time must so peaceful and beautiful and we considered taking our next vacation there. It would be totally awesome to run into him there!!!!

Thanks for any information you might have!

Jamie 🙂

He doesn't hang out on the island, most of the time he is on his boat floating and island hopping. He also tours most of the year, like Jan-September or something like that. There are 4,000+ permanent residents on St. John plus all the vactioners..... Well, let's just say unless you got a boat and know his exact location at the time of your visit, you may waste your whole trip trying to "bump into" him. He is just another person when he is down there, most don't even know what he does. Hard to fathom for a die hard fan, but that is the way he likes it, quiet and low key......
Woody's gets a couple of twenty something cowboy hat wearing groupies hanging out hoping to just bump into him. It amazes me that people have that much extra money to spend to just fly down and chase Kenny. If you are spending 400-700 on a plane ticket you might as well enjoy the islands for what they are and not as "kenny's" getaway spot. It's cheaper to buy front row tickets to one of his concerts! And at least then you are gauranteed to see him LOL
GoOd LuCk!
OH, ps, while you hoping to bump into Kenny, you might just bump into Barbara Streisand, Michael J. Fox, Michael Jordan or the hundreds of other celebs that go to the islands for vacations or winter stays!

The local liquor store ordered me a bottle of Cruzan Rum when I got back from St. Thomas & wanted to make some Bushwackers.
(my son's girlfriend works there...so I have 'connections'!!)
Yesterday I was called to let me know that they are doing this big promo to sell all the flavors of Cruzan Rum at this so store & Kenny Chesney is the biggest promotor!
When I went in the store, they gave me 4'lil sample bottles & a recipe booklet to make some very yummy stuff. I told the owner I would build some of the Rum Cake for her to hand out as samples if she would give me a cut of her profits then!!

She laughed too!

I can't wait to try all the new recipes with all the different flavors now! Maybe if I burn a mango sented candle, close my eyes...it may be just like I'm back on the island!! ya...right!

Myhusband and I went to St. John for our honeymoon several years ago and fell in love with it. We've gone back at least 2 times a year since and have friends we stay with.

I'm not a country music fan and on our last visit for New Year's Kenny provided the live entertainment at a small block party outside of Woody's. I've seen some of his interviews about the island and he's dead on with his descriptions. It's such a peacful relaxing place, we love the people and the beaches are so beautiful. I love to talk about it, just like he does. The difference is a lot more people are listneing to him and I wish he's just keep quiet. That's the beauty of St. John, most people stop and stay on St. Thomas, there's shopping, bars, nightlife etc, and the crowds stay over there.

We've bumpped into many famous people on our visits, but we certainly we not looking for it to happen so I suggest that if you go to St. John, don't go because you're hoping to run into Kenny. Trust me when I say he's not the best part of the island.

I have seen quite a few interviews with him and watched a show the other night about his new cd, which is mainly island music that he wrote while in STJ. One thing I noticed is he never mentioned the name of the island he just referred to them as the islands. Which I thought was good so you don't get a bunch of people going there hunting for him. He said that he liked it in the islands because of the people and the pace, I hope it stays that way.

That was a neat story about Chesney.
We are Parrotheads and it looks like he is the heir apparent.
What is the name of his boat? and on what island did you meet up with him.
Thanks

St John is a place where people go to be able to relax and have fun and be. No one cares if you are famous. We just want you to come, enjoy the beauty, the beaches, all of the characters and have a good time. Let the man be. Let him have his island and his fun. If you bump into him great but don't come here and search him out. He is one of the good guys he deserves to have a place he can come to and be himself.
