Okay, I'll say in advance that I'm embarrased to post this but what the heck, i'm among friends!!!
I'm a Kenny Chesney fan and saw him in concert recently and while I was looking at some recent pictures that were posted on this sight the song about the "Old Blue Chair" of his came on my ITunes and so I'm wondering... have any of you ever seen him while vacationing there or know any interesting tid bits of his living there? Just random thinking on my part, but I do love how he describes the feeling of being on St. John in that song and mentions Cinnamon Bay and it added so much to looking at the pictures! I think at least one of his albums was written in great part while he was there. Anyone know anything that will fuel my interest?

Now wasn't it Britney who bought Kenny's house? Oops, might have been K-Fed but that's probably just an ugly rumour because I rather think he couldn't afford it. Oops again, maybe I heard too that it might be Miss Hilton looking for a place to relax after her gruelling prison stop. I tell you, all this gossip mill stuff and alleged celebrity sightings just leave a tired old broad with her head spinning. Time to take that heart pill before that ticker just explodes right out of the old chest!

Actually Mr Chesney has sold his home on St John. His trust owns some parcels of land for investment purposes, but he no longer has a home in the VI.
All that i know is that i just wont front row seats for satruday nights show!! Haha... WOOOO!!!

So last night Ms Promoguy aka promogal and I went to a free outdoor concert in Hollywood which was at a location co located with the Kodak Center, where you American Idol fans watch the finals. Pete Escovedo and his Latin Jazz band sans Sheila E. The center is next door to the world famous tourist attraction called the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The place with all of the hand prints in cement.
They had closed off Hollywood Blvd for a premier opening for Oceans 13. The street was packed with limos and red carpets. People oogling and cheering behind the barriers. Who would have thought that these types of crowds would still be eager to see the stars at movie openings. Hell, I who live in the city didn't think they happen anymore. So celebrity watching is everywhere still in full force.
To keep it in line with the Kenny themed thread, I'm afraid because of his size, he'd have had to stand on a little ladder to see over the folks in the crowd.
Now Promo....if Kenny did make it there, I would think you would offer him your shoulders....tough carrying a ladder around :o)
The popular boys were playing patty-cake in cement.

Kenny first purchased a home in Chocolate Hole. Couldn't wait for them to finish renovating it, so he bought a second one in Peter Bay. Too many people went looking for him there so he bought a third one elsewhere on island. Contractors were building a cottage on the property of the latest one I last heard.

I just built a house in Ohio, where is all the hype about that? I wonder if my contractor is bragging about just finishing beer_hunter's house? Not only that, but I am 6'7", so nobody can make fun of my height. Life just isn't fair!
