The parcel number is 6-3-116 Carolina...in upper carolina. The road is paved and the adjacent parcels are listed, as well. It's a .50 acre parcel of raw land on the uphill build side of the road. The parcel across the street recently had a house built. While in construction, we stood on their lot to snap a few photos of the view. That being said, since there are a couple of houses up there now, you should have easy access to electricty and everything else necessary to build and live/rent the home. Or, simply buy for a lower price and hang onto it until the next big price boom. The good thing for you as a buyer is the the market is at its lowest in years. My agent thinks things will pick up this time next year, but my husband and I aren't entirely sure whether or not we want to wait. We are hoping to buy a home at the end of this year and the market in which we plan to buy will probably be increasing in value at the same rate as St John for the next few years, so it's really a toss-up. Do we throw our money away in rent for the next few years and wait for an increase in STJ land value, or do we sell at a reduced price and put the money in something which might yield us more usable equity?

If you don't already have an agent, I can give you contact info for ours. His name is Marc Miller and he is at Town & Country in Coral Bay. Email me if you want his contact information, or if you want a link to kodakgallery for pictures.

Thanks for replying!!
