Late Night Flight Arrival...Do we need to worry about Taxi Availability?

Since we are not needing a STT car rental this trip and we are arriving sorta late in the evening (9:00pm-ish), I am going to assume taxis will still be readilly available? Is this correct? Or do you suggest setting up a private taxi? We just need a ride up the road to the Emerald Beach. Trying to get all my ducks in a row here. Thanks!

chrisn, when you return, please post how your stay at Emerald Beach was. Have stayed there several times but skipped last yr and have been hearing lots of different stuff since we were there last. Thanks

Hi Carole. I will do that but you should probably know that EB is just a night-over stop for us at both ends of our trip. We will be the first week on Virgin Gorda and the second on St. John. First and last night at EB. We did the same first and last night thing last trip as well. I like it cause it's convenient to the airport and we travel all day to get there and arrive late. In my opinion from our last experience, it was fine for a night-over or two. Love the beach and the restaurant. Nice pool. Rooms acceptable. I don't think I would base an island stay there though.
