I've been looking all over the internet for an affordable 2-br villa/condo in St. J. It seems like there are hardly any condos and that most villas are bigger than 2 bedrooms. And, of course, many are booked by now. Also, we're going in mid-March, and our budget is $2800 for the rental for the week. We care about A/C but we don't need a pool. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Try LavenderHillSuites.com They have a few condos with 2 Bedrooms, and it is within walking distance to town. Gary is great to deal with.

Try Grandview Villa through Seaview Homes. It is a 2 bedroom villa, tropical feel, wonderful view with a/c in the bedrooms and fans in the main house. Great location as long as you have a car. No pool. We paid 3900.00 for 10 days during Christmas. It is still high season in March, but should be in your price range.

Don’t burn too much energy looking for a 2-bedroom villa. We nearly always wind up in a 3-4 bedroom home even when it’s just the two of us, and the prices aren’t that much different from the smaller places. Your main problem is that most rentals during high season were snapped up a long time ago. The good news is you’re more likely to find markdowns on unrented units the closer you get.
