Hi all, we are looking for some good places to have dinner, otherwise known as supper up here.We are a family of four, 2 adults 2 teens. We do not want to spend $200 for a meal every night. And although we do not drink we would still like to go somewhere fun. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Which island?

I gather STT from some of your posts? For fun places I would check Iggie's at Bolongo, Duffy;s. Shipwreck Tavern. More serious would be Hook, Line and Sinker, Tickles, Molly Malone's. Little more upscale would be places like Alexander's, Oceana, Craig and Sally's, Room With a View, Randy's. There are three at the new Yacht Haven Grande. The list can go on an on.

You should try to make it out to indigo. It's 1/2 mile from magens bay and the food is AMAZING. Reasonable prices, and just a good time.

The poster mentioned in another post that this is STT. I agree w/ Indigo, really great food, a nice setting and reasonable prices. There are some inexpensive restaurants in Red Hook. Duffy's has pretty good food, but go earlier if you want to avoid the party crowd. Old Sopchoppy's has great pizza. Caribbean Saloon and Molly Malone's can be done inexpensive, but some things on the menu are pricey.

Tried all 3 restaurants at the new Yacht Haven Grande. All were good but expensive. My favorite is Latitude 18, east end across the harbor from the Red Hook ferry docks. Good food inexpensive entertainment most nights

We frequent Tickles the most....way casual. Fat Turtle at Yacht Haven Grande next in line, again way casual. Indigo is one of my favorites, a little more expensive, BUT excellent food and again casual!!!! Great Mojito's as well! Hook, Line, and Sinker is in French Town and casual, nice setting as well!
Out East- we will sometimes go to Duffy's Love Shack and Molly Malone's!
