Hi, my name is Brian:

Lots of Transportation Questions PLEASE!

I will be living next to Juan F. Luis Hospital? I will have no car. Is there a Bus from Christiansted to Juan F. Luis Hospital? How much and how often?

Is there a bus from Bus from Frederiksted to Juan F. Luis Hospital? How much and how often?

Is there a bus schedule anywhere?

Would it be easier if I caught the bus from Sunny Isle shopping center to each city above?

Finally, if I want to enjoy some night-life at the two cities above, what will be my options to get home, (how late does the bus run)?

Thanks, Brian

It seems from your post that you'll be living on STX as opposed to visiting so best you go to the VINow Moving Center which is linked at the very top of this page. There's an active forum but your best bet is to initially read everything from left to right on the top bar pull-down menus of that site and then finish up on the forum where you can pose questions which haven't been generally addressed. Good luck!

There is no bus information about the hospital.

Is there any Bus that goes to or from Juan F. Luis Hospital? That drops you off at the Hospital?

Thanks

You will get responses if you go to the Moving Center/Relocation forum. This is a visitor's forum.

STX Vitran bus # 773-1290 - why not give them a call?

There is a VITRAN bus that runs from Frederiksted to Christiansted--not sure how often. However, the better option are shared taxi buses that run along the same route but more frequently (and the same price). The same exact route is followed, and the nearest stop to the hospital is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hospital. Taxi buses and the actual buses do not run after dark. So you'd either have to call a taxi to bring you home from either town at night (which is expensive).
