Since they don't have self serve laundry facilites at our hotel, I was wondering if you could recommend a place that might make that chore a little more enjoyable.

The nicest self-serve laundromat is probably the one at Tutu Park Mall. Many laundromats here offer drop off service and will do a load for a reasonable price ($5-$10). They might offer this, I'm not sure. I use one near the Blockbuster in Long Bay though I only use the drop off service. Many of the laundromats are not in the best areas, and or hot/dirty/rundown, so I'm not sure that's how I would want to spend a day of my vacation...
