We are planning our first trip to St. John for June 2006. We've been there via cruiseship, but have never stayed there for more than a few hours. I have found this message board to be invaluable to me already and I'm sure I'll be here many more times in the coming months.
We are thinking of booking the Meritage Great House through Great Caribbean Getaways. The house is located in Hart Bay. I was just wondering if anyone had input on this rental company or this house.

We are leaving for Charlotte Friday afternoon for our non stop flight on Saturday morning! We will be there from 6/17-6-24. Will be more than happy to let you know how Meritage was. From all I've heard, it sounds like we are not going to be disappointed. I'll be in touch when we get back.

I'm so excited for you, Christi! Just a few more days. I know you'll love "living" on St. John. The hardest part is leaving (but try not to think about that!).
We started going there when our kids were little -- they're young adults now -- and have so many wonderful memories. This time my older son is bringing his girlfriend along, to share his favorite place with her.
Meritage does look beautiful, so I can't imagine it being less than great. And I'm confident Carefree Getways will take great care of you; they've always gone out of their way to make sure we have everything we need.
