Has anyone notice the military presence in St. Croix lately!! We have seen a Coast Guard Cutter parked on the west end of Buck Island. We also saw military aircraft at the airport a long with army soldiers in the store today. Does anyone know the reason they are here?

There are national guard armories on both STX and STT and the Reef Shark USCG cutter is assigned to the USVI. We often have seen military aircraft on STX and soldiers in traveling or in the shops. The Hurricane Hunters base out of STX, too, I think.
