Question:

We will be on St. John during the last week in April.

I have heard many references to Miss Lucy's "Brunch" on Sundays.

Could someone tell me - what makes it different from the other days that she is open?

Also, during what hours is that "brunch" served?

Thanx for the info!

Sunday brunch at Miss Lucy's is the only breakfast they serve all week. They are only open for lunch and dinner all other days.

I think brunch starts at 10am.

Great food, great time!

Miss Lucy's for Sunday brunch is a MOST DO for our family while we are on STJ. Don't expect anything fancy. It's not your stuffy Sunday brunch with a huge buffet table at all. It's very island layback casual with chickens and goat running around and a small jaz combo to entertain you as you sit a stones throw from the water. Get there early(we alway get there at 10AM or a couple minutes before to get the best table under the tree. Great eggs benedict or florintine. Great crab cakes and banana pancakes.

Do you think Miss Lucy's will be open Easter Sunday (April 16)? It would be fun to go after we attend church.

It has in the past been open on Easter, we will be there this Easter and are planning on going there for Brunch, it does not get any better than Miss Lucy's on a Sunday morning.

Thanks RM. We should be there too. Do they take reservations at Miss Lucy's? If so, how soon in advance should we call?

They do not take reservations for brunch or the full moon party.

lovethecape,

spoke with them today, no resvp. but they will be open and that is all you need to know.

10a is when they open, you can not find a better place to have Easter Brunch, with any luck the goats will be there to visit.

Last year the jazz group were great, or maybe it was the Bloody Mary's that we started with................

Enjoy..

Thanks RM and Lysa! What a great way to celebrate Easter especially since I don't have to cook and clean. A Bloody Mary sounds good to me.
