*i will be staying in st. thomas over christmas. i would like to see the new king kong movie. are there any there any movies theatres on the island? thank you.

You are in luck, King Kong has just started (today) at our one and only movie theater, Caribbean Cinemas at Market Square East. The present schedule is only good for a week, so I can't tell you whether it will be running after next Thursday. However, given the high acclaim the film is getting stateside I imagine that it will run longer than one week and will therefore be showing over Xmas weekend.

If you go to the movies, make sure to take a jacket or sweater. They keep it like a meat locker in there.
