Moving to St Thomas - Apartments?

My girlfriend and are are moving the St Thomas soon and were wondering if anyone knew a list of apartments (like the ones you find all over in the US mainland) that were available.
Any places that you recommend? Any places that you wouldn't recommend?

We're looking for something that is simple - furnished or mostly furnished. Any info about moving here would be great.

I've been working on moving as well. I have a friend who already lives there and he told me to look on Craigslist. There is always a bunch of stuff on there. My friend found his place listed on there for $1500/mo, but negotiated it down to $1250/mo. Good luck!

most apartments are single units that are part of a private house - look at the Island Trader which has many ads for rent - don't even consider renting an apartment from off island sight unseen - also you will want to post on the relocation board NOT this travel board.

Didnt even know that this one exclusive to traveling visits or The relocation boar existed! Thanks so much for the info!
