We are debating hauling a couple of those chairs that collapse and fit into a bag on our visit to STJ. I've read how handy the neat sheets are, and I was wondering if that would be a better option. Or maybe take both? Any opinions on that? We're going to try to pack light and those two chairs would just add to what we have to carry. We are staying at the Westin, so I know we can't haul their chairs to other beaches with us. I would appreciate any input!

there will be attendants to set your chairs up... you wont have to haul a thing. on a side note: they do work for tips

Lip - You are referring to the beach at the Westin, as far as attendants setting up chairs for guests... right? I think spg was asking what to do about chairs when going to beaches other than the one at Westin. 😉

spg - I think it depends on how you like to sit/lay on the beach. If you feel more comfortable sitting in a chair then go that route. If you find it comfortable to lay on a blanket or towel or sit on the blanket then the neat sheet would suffice.

If you are going to Trunk, they rent chairs there.
