Hi,

I have been trying to figure out how much it would cost to take the ferry from St. John-Cruz Bay to The Baths and then to Jost Van Dyke (White Bay), and then back to Cruz Bay in one day. I looked at the ferry rates but don't know what the cost would be, if we figure round-trip or one-way fares and even how to figure where we would go, in addition to taxi's (if we would need to take them). I'm trying to find the most economical way to do this trip.

If anyone has made this trip or can help me figure out what the cost would be per person, I would really appreciate it.

We may have as many as 2-14 adults and two children (one two years old and one 6 months).

Thanks!

Mary

Mary: You are not going to be able to get that all in in one day on the ferry. With the number of people you have, chartering a boat or boats would be the most time and cost effective route. For example, a round trip from St John to Virgin Gorda is about $60 per adult alone. Have you looked into the New Horizons trip? It would get you to both the Baths and Jost in one day.

also, I'd like to add that its just not the cost of the ferries, but that fact they don't run every hour (like STT to STJ) to the BVI's. I don't know if there is even a ferry that runs from the Baths to JVD. Definitely, with that many in a party, chartering a boat would be the way to go. It will be an awesome day tho!

Ferries are out. To determine which alternative is most economical, you'll need to know how many adults will be in your party.
