Where is the best (cheapest) rental house on St. John or maybe St. Thomas.

Donald Schnell has some very nice rental houses (villas) on St. John, with good prices. His website is Donaldschnell.com
If you just want a room, or efficiency, The Inn at Tamarind Court is about the cheapest, and is in a great location.

Are you looking for long term or a vacation rental? If a long term, best to post on the relocation forum on this site and also check out the classified section.

If you're looking for a vacation rental you could check out www.vrbo.com. "Cheap" isn't a term generally used here as nothing is "cheap" but there are many options for reasonably priced vacation rentals. Cheers!
