looking for affordable stay for 2 nites april 14th/15th on st thomas near airport or ferry to st john..also need one nite sat. the 23rd on stj,, we will need a refridgerator...want to be in cruz bay...thank you

Take a look at Galleon House on government hill in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Short walking distance to the ferry. I don't have a suggestion for Cruz bay, but I'm sure someone will chime in.

On STT, the Crystal Palace above town. Ronnie is an excellent host and will pick you up at the airport.

I did find a very cheap rate to Galleon House Hotel at Caribbean Travel & Leisure for about $85/night.
