We will be visiting St. Thomas in August for the very first time. We have one week and would love to see the key sites of St. Thomas as well and the surrounding islands. What are the key places you would suggest. Its a family vacation with our 16 year old son. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Spend the day at Magens Bay and take a walk thru the arboritum, Go kayaking, take a daysail, a scuba tour, snorkel at Coki Beach and check out Smith Bay Beach. Play horseshoes at Hull Bay or snorkel, go on the tramway ride to Paradise Point in Havensite, go ziplining, rent jetskies, take a trip up to the BVI to visit the Baths (Passports required)Go to St. Peter Greathouse for a tour, check out the views from Mountaintop and have a cold drink.
Take your car on the barge over to St. John for the day and explore their beaches, shopping and National Park. Check out the downtown shops and relax on the beach. Someone should know if Sapphire still has volleyball, if your son is so inclined. They have lots of activities at Bolongo as well. Check the local weekly free paper, Island Trader and see what live entertainment is available. How's that for starters?
