My first pick would be my villa. But if you want a crowd, go to Skinny's. You WILL see the Patriots if they're playing. Have fun! GO BEARS!!!

Rodney

You can find football on just about anywhere in the Islands. But I have to agree with Kahshe, I would pick my room.

I have to share a story, speaking of the Patriots. I am a ten year plus season ticket holder of the Patriots, and the first time I had the pleasure of visiting St. Thomas, the Pats made the playoffs and were playing the Colts in a divisional playoff game. I did watch the game in our room with family and had a great time. I called my brother, who I usually go to the games with, and he said it was about 20 degrees and he was waiting in line for the porta-potty. I really missed not being at the game up until that point. I told him it was 80 degrees and sunny, and I am in flip flops, and no waiting for the bathroom!

We're Pats fans and several years ago were going to STJ in early December. We definitely wanted to watch the game and had planned to be at Skinny's for it. We were looking forward to it. But as the days rolled by and we slipped deeper into Island Time, the game began to seem less important. When Sunday rolled around, we asked ourselves if we really wanted to spend the afternoon sitting in a bar watching television? Or would we rather go snorkel at a beach we hadn't been to yet? We chose the beach. I have no memory of who the Pats played that day or who won. I do have some great photos and memories of the day we went to Salt Pond and finally walked over to Drunk Bay. I've seen a lot of games and will see more. I doubt that I'll build a coral man on Drunk Bay again.

Hey, some people have priorities in life!

I think you have it right Rodney. Sad as it is, I wouldn't miss a game either.

Hope you find a good spot.

We will be on STJ (for the first time) at the end of November too--and don't think the Pats schedule wasn't consulted before making our reservations! My husband is sacrificing his seat at the stadium for that one game, and we will be returning to cold New England in time for the next home game. We have already decided to see the Pats/Bears game at Skinny Legs based on recommendations from this board. Sounds like the owners are Pats fans too!

Blue, you will love STJ and Skinny Legs is a fun, very relaxed place to hang out in. We had decent burgers there last time we went (not that we went to STJ for burgers) and yes, we heard the owners, at least originally (not sure now) are Boston locals I think.
