Has anyone recently been on a night snorkel out of St. John. We took one out of Maho Bay back in the mid 90's but do not know if it is still offered. If anyone has information on this, I'd appreciate your help.

If you have never been on a night snorkel or dive - it is absolutely awesome and strongly reccomend it.

you can night snorkel on your own, just rent a flashlight and some snorkel gear. I'm sure the dive shop in wharfside village would have something like that. I know there is a popular one on STT run by Homer http://www.nightsnorkel.com/

Yes it is VERY fun.

Keep an eye out for jellyfish, esp. in the summmer months. Jellyfish are attracted to lights in the water at night.

The guy at Crabby's Watersports in Coral Bay offered to set us up for a night snorkel a few years agao but we decided not to do it due to the heebie-jeebies (mine, not my hubby's).

I'd contact them. They have a website. Just google Crabby's Watersports Coral Bay.
