FYI Duty Free Shopping in San Juan Puerto Rico :
You can bring back as much alcohol as you an carry . They pack it up in a bag in a nice carry on bag and secure it for you. I bought back lots from Puerto Rico and the prices are great.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the "no limit" is because you pay the federal tax on those bottles. Do they have the tax seal? It's that red and white(?) paper strip over the bottle cap. The prices are still good compared to the main land , but not as good as in the VI.

No red and white strip over the cap, so all I can say is the prices are very compariable to VI, I shopped there as well.
Plus this is hassel free, they pack it in a carrying case which has shoulder straps which is very convient.

Federal limit is 6 but if you keep it to less then 11 they usually will not want to do the paperwork.
