Just to let you all know that the downtown CA ferry to St John has been cancelled until further notice so Red Hook is your only option at this time.

Hope this helps in your planning.

What?! Thanks for the update - is there a reason for this - don't workers on STJ living on STT need this ferry?

So does that mean the Red Hook ferry will be crazy with long lines, or does most people use the RH ferry anyhow? Anyone know the reason?

No reason as of yet and no update as to when it may start up again - I'll keep you posted. Most workers seem to take the Red Hook

WOW -- We are arriving next Friday and hope the ferry will be up and running by then. We do normally take the Red Hook ferry over, but with CA closed, it worries me about the amount of traffic that will be using Red Hook.

Pia, we appreciate your updates, and will continue to look for them up to our departure.

Why has the ferry been shut down for now? This is going to be crazy in Red Hook.

Do the taxi drivers at the airport let you know this? Will they know when it starts working again?

On another forum I read that the CA to STJ ferry is back up and running. Can anyone confirm?
