Hi everyone!
I wanted to let everyone know that this restaurant was EXCELLENT! Newly opened about 2 weeks ago and located on route 37 (Hull Bay Rd). This restaurant has seen some major changes and I loved every detail. At first I was disappointed that it was going to be more of a finer dining experience, but I was truly impressed! For some, this will be out of the way for you, but well worth the drive. For those staying in the Peterborg, Mahogany Run, Dorothea, or Mafolie areas, it is not difficult to get to at all! It has a wonderful view of Hull Bay and has a outside dining deck as well as an indoor dining area. The wine selection is unreal (tho I have to tell you, I am NOT a wine drinker)! I feel very fortunate that the North side now has 3 wonderful restaurants!

Exit zero,
You are right on! The house is toward the top of Neltjerg Rd and off route 33, so your directions are good! I also think you explained about the easiest way to go for sure!

bllld,
Anxious to know what you think, June 7 soon come!

Cool!

Sherri, you KNOW how I loved North Drop, so I am glad to hear that something good has replaced it. Can you dine on the deck? That sunset was amazing!

This might have to be mom's birthday dinner restaurant when they stay at Stone Cottage later this year. So convenient, yet sounds like a special place.

Hey Blu,
Sure have missed you here on the forum! Yes, still dining out on the deck which now has a roof and is all screened in! It is stunning with all new tables and chairs and a sitting/lounge area for smokers at the far end. She also has a lounge area inside (not for smoking) as well as regular seating and added a wine room! You may also dine in there as well, if you would like. kind of like a private area. Yes, you would like it! I am looking forward to your parents trip down! I promise I will take great care of them! (tu)

Just got back. We went to both Thirteen (up the road for us) and North Side Bistro. I would recommend both places. Very accomodating, food was excellent and prices about the same as states for a better restaurant. Loved the atmosphere of North Side Bistro. We went early and sat on the porch and watched the sunset. Both rest. were close by for us. Thirteen was always packed with cars so difinately make reservations.

Absolutely outstanding food and service! Last night it was packed, on the drive home very little cars at 13. Seems everyone is going to the Northside Bistro!

Excellent Tippi, so glad you checked them out and enjoyed your meal! I ran into Connie the owner early evening at a party and promised to stop for drink, but I left the party too late! Too bad, I might have seen you! My guests at the villas are giving rave reviews also in our guest books! Kudos!

YES< Northside Bistro overlooks Hull Bay and Inner and Outer Brass. Sit on the screen porch. Get there early enough to see the view. AND, the food is great as well as in the "island reasonable" class.

Had another wonderful meal and Mojitos! I found out that the link I provided is just the beginnings. The sight is incomplete at the moment and soon should have menus for all to see! (tu)

We had a terrific dinner there in June. We saw a beautiful sunset. Food was great as well as service. Found this thanks to these boards!!
