Where are you staying? Do you have a car while you're there?

That will help to narrow down the suggestions on what to do while you're there. You are going to have so much fun!!!

The best plan in the islands is to have no plan. Pack a cooler and head to the beach, I'm always amazed how friendly everyone is. By the end of the day you will probably know lot's of people on a first name basis and even have an invitation to join some of them for drinks or dinner. Do beware if you are traveling alone, I wouldn't go off the beaten path in the evenings or get too friendly with questionable characters.

Have a great time!

Hello everybody,

Yes, I'm still soooo excited. I have a car and I have a place, I'm a travel nurse, but don't have to be at the hospital until Monday morning. My plane arrives around 4pm on Friday and I'm sure I'll be ready to rock. OMG..............I'm gonna be in St. Croix, I'm gonna be in St. Croix.....(as I dance like a crazy woman around my kitchen!!) Any suggestions? Any fun activities? Any restaurants? Local hangouts? I'm just way too excited!!

Good luck with your transition. I'm also a nurse and would love to hear of your experiences at the hospital. We have another 18 months before we are able to move to STX
