I have a couple of maps of STT, but cannot find any info on where to park your car while sightseeing, shopping, snorkeling, etc. Anyone have any tips?

While in Charlotte Amalie use the parking lot next to the fort or the parking at the GER Building. Red Hook its a hit and miss. Good luck!!

When you rent your vehicle, you should get a map from your agency. Out of all I've seen, this one is the best map.
Parking in the Fort Christian parking lot can be difficult as well as it fills up fast! Peggy was right on for her suggestions there!
For parking in Red Hook, I use the paid parking behind Marina Market, especially if you are leaving your car there to take the Ferry. (Remember tho, you can take the car barge over to STJ and drive around there as well, there are STJ maps. Hertz does not allow their cars over to STJ) That paid parking lot charges $2.00 per hour and doesn't charge you until you return for your vehicle. I have found that to be my best bet! This parking lot has a guy with a golf cart that will give you the short ride across from the ferry dock if you don't want to walk! This helps if you are carrying alot of stuff with you!
These 2 locations are the hardest for parking, you shouldn't have any problems at any of the beaches you would go to. Not to worry when you go snorkeling! Hope this helps, and have a GREAT time!!!! 🙂

We went to Charlotte Amalie about 10:00 AM and it was very easy to park. In Red Hook we always parked across the street from Duffy's. It's an underground parking lot. We never had a problem.

You're only other option besides the market is to park on the side of the road. But that gets crowded real fast unless you take the earliest Ferry over.

This was during May by the way, so winter months may be much busier.

That parking lot under the building is for customers only. Some days they may boot or tow St John parkers, same across the street at Red Hook Shopping Center.
