have been reading my feet, fins and 4WD book and I'm not sure where parking is for most beaches. Is it mostly on the road?
I see that some beaches are part of other places, ie. Cinnamon Bay Campgrounds for CB beach. So it is cool to park there to use the beach?

Trying to get the lay of the land ..... thanks 😉

we got back last night. we had a rental and it was very easy to park at salt pond cinnamon, trunk and waterlemon. Jumbie only has about 4 spaces. We used the same book..let me know if other questions. we were there for a week with a 15 and 17 year old girls.

Hello Marybeth,

Some beaches have roadside parking, Dan mentioned one of them - Jumbie. Maho also has roadside parking and Gibney as well. A few you have to hike to like Salomon and Honeymoon, no road/no parking. Caneel Bay & Great Cruz Bay/Westin are part of a resort, but yes there is access for the public. Cinnamon Bay has a parking area and you can use it when going to the beach, Trunk Bay also has parking - both these two beaches are popular and sometimes the parking lot is full, in which case roadside parking is the next option. Salt Pond has a parking area at the top of the trail. Hope that helps.
