My wife and I will be making our fourth trip to St. John in November. We are staying in a villa in Catherineburg called Peace & Plenty. We are very familiar with the area having stayed at Great Escape in Catherineburg in 2004, but Peace & Plenty was finished only about a year ago. Is there anyone on the board who has stayed there? If so, can you give us a review?

waycaster,

We will be staying at P&P for two weeks starting 9/2....I will be happy to let you know what we think about it. Please remind me...we'll be back home on 9/17. We've also stayed in Catherineburg; obviously we love the area...the views are to die for. It was a relief to hear that P&P finally has phone service and high speed internet. WHEW! I was holding my breath on that one. I would also like to hear from someone who has actually stayed there.

Godspeed,
mia

Great Escape is beautiful. The view has absolutely no rival. Great pool and hot tub. Our only critiques would be: 1) we prefer that the kitchen and lanai be on the same level as the pool which is not the case at GE, and 2) one of the bedrooms is interior with no view, so if you have four couples (as we did) one couple's bedroom is less desirable. But that is just splitting hairs. GE is wonderful. The view from GE is a major reason we are staying in Catherineburg again this year. We loved it and I'm sure you will too.
