When did the coded electronic gate deny access to Peter Bay's public right-of-way to the beach. A few years back you could drive down and park and walk on the narrow path to gain access to the beach. Who paid whom off?

It is private property, they can restrict your land access if they choose. You can still access the beach from the water if you rent a boat.

Personally, I don't think the beach is worth it, there are so many other great beaches.
