Picture ID's needed for children?????

Does anyone know what travel documentation is required for children (ages 6 & 10)? I have been assuming that original birth certificates would suffice, but now I'm second guessing myself. Is there a wesite that I can check regarding this? Thanks........4 weeks and 1 day until paradise!!!!!!!!!!!

Just there in April with our 5 year old. All we needed was an original birth certificate.
