We are staying on St. Thomas. We plan on going to dinner on St. John/Cruz Bay after spending the day snorkeling and hanging out on the beaches of St. John. Do any of the beaches have a shower head in the bathrooms to rinse the sand off? Which beach has the cleanest restrooms for changing, freshing up, outlet to plug hairdryer in (I have long thick hair), mirror for makeup etc before we go out for a nice dinner. We would like to go to ZoZo's one of those nights and I don't want to look like the drown rat from the beach.

Is there a way to sneak into the campgrounds bathrooms? Maho Bay? Cinnamon? Or will they let you pay a few bucks to use them?

What are the public restrooms like in Cruz Bay? Are they for emergency use only or are they more like a clean rest area?

If you don't want to share your secret clean up spot on the board please send me a private message.

I read about one wealthy couple that paid to have a massage at the Westin 2 days so they could clean up at their spa. I thought that was a good idea but we are not a wealthy couple.

Thanks everyone.

Kraushaus, Your best bet may be to stop at Trunk Bay last. They have showers under a shelter next to the restrooms. Sorry I don't recall if there was a receptacle in the bathroom.

If I remember correctly they do have receptacles at Trunk in the restroom shelters.

However the wet head look is seen frequently at the dinning establishments in STJ.

I had the same question so I did a quick search of the forum and it looks like Trunk Bay has the best facilities for showers. HOWEVER, i also read that they close the showers at 4pm. Can someone confirm this?
Thanks!

That is correct - restroom and showers at Trunk close at 4pm (actually they start cleaning and shutting down alittle earlier than that about 3:45ish)
