Any ideas on where to stay for 2 nights in Cruz Bay? I am looking for an inexpensive room for our adult son. We have clalled Inn at Tamarind. Has anyone had experience at St. John Inn?

We have stayed twice at the ST John Inn, and have recommended it to family members also and we all have had a good experience. Close to town, breakfast, clean, a/c, beach towels, beach chairs etc - good for the price.

can you walk to restaurants from the St. John Inn? How about the beach? could you call it "nice"? Or is it kind of run-down?

Check out this website - it's pretty accurate - It is walkable to all the restaurants in "town" (it's about 5 mins from Woody's) and for 2 nights I think it will be fine.
