We've had our plane schedule changed to STJ on NOv 5th and may not arrive in time to get the last ferry over to Cruz Bay from STT. If the need be (we're both big on Plan B's), can someone recommend a place to stay for one quick night in STT that we can get to easily from the airport and back (the next early AM), without breaking the bank, that's clean, safe, and probably has rooms open at the last minute? Thanks for any quick suggestions. ( Hubbie travels alot for work and has had many re-scheduled flights so we're used to assuming we need that Plan B to avoid total disappointment.)

The Galleon House is cheap, clean, they feed you in the morning, and you can walk down to the Charlotte Amalie ferry to Cruz Bay in the morning. Of course, you could also try the Hoiday Inn or Best Western, as they are both close (Best Western is next door to the airport and Holiday Inn is walking distance to the ferry, also).

You could look at www.crystalpalaceusvi.com, a lovely B & B and also close to the town ferry in the morning! Ronnie is the host-with-the-most!

Thanks as always guys! All of these sound like good suggestions. We happen to have mucho hotel points for both the hotels mentioned so maybe we'll book a night to be on the safe side and could cancel once we're in Charlotte NC on leg 2 of our trip down. 6 plus weeks and counting!!!
