Has anyone used Priceline.com to book a trip (either to the VI or elsewhere)?

We booked our upcoming trip St. John via Priceline and I'm wondering if anyone has used them, purchased a ticket and then found the prices lower as you got closer to your trip.

My question is will Priceline honor the current price of the trip and reimburse you for the difference or are you stuck with the price you paid?

I've been watching the airfares and it looks like prices are dropping as we get closer. Today it was about 28.00 cheaper.

Any input would be great!

Thanks

Jill

My understanding is that someone has to actually book your exact itinerary with Priceline for the guarantee to kick it and the difference paid to you.

Move on. The price line price protection is a bunch of bull as stated above.
