Good Day Everyone!

I need assistance finding a private sail boat with a Captain for a day. My friend will be staying on St. John. Possible dates will be May 21 thru May 25, 2009. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers! 🙂

Captain Chris Fritz drives "Stylish I and II" out of Sapphire Bay. He's a really cool guy and it's a good time. Check it out!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks again for all the great information. I have one more question. Would any of these Captain's be able to pick up at the National Park Dock on St. John? This would just make it a litte more convenient instead of taking the ferry over to St. Thomas.

Hope everyone here is having a great day.

Cheers from Jupiter (Florida) 😎

Go with the Ike Witt
Captain Pat is a hoot!
Not sure if he can pick you up over there but email him or call him at 340-690-6244

Captain Pat sold Ike Witt and has moved down island -- Capt Adam owns her now and is a fine sailor and excellent host - few people, if any however could match Pats personality - Ike Witt is still well run though!

I don't know if Ike Witt picks up on STJ or not, but Adam is a nice guy. We went with Oh Be Joyful Sailing a while back and had a great time. We'd go with them again before going with anyone else. They do pick up on STJ. If you google "St Thomas (or St John) snorkeling (or sailing)" you should be able to find a lot of great people to do what you're looking for. I don't know of a truly bad apple in the bunch. Where are you hoping to go? That may help you decide who to go with as well, because not everyone will go to the BVI's, etc.

Hi Everyone!

All this information is great. However, the trip may be delayed a little bit. As for where my friends want to sail, they have to stay in US terriroty. The boss has an expired passport and doesn't have other documents. So, that's more work for me. LOL I will keep this post for when the trip is back on. Have a great week everyone! I miss STJ so much!

Cheers,
Fran

He would not need a passport to take a daysail - original birth certificate and Govt. picture ID work - ---- if you don't go to the BVI on the boat then -- absolutely no need - don't need it at the airport either.
