question about STT Rental Car thru Hotwire

We are going to STT and STJ the end of May. Staying at STT for only 2 days. Searched on Hotwire for rental car. If we booked for 2-day rental, it would cost us more than 50 USD a day for a small car. If I put in 2 days seperately (as two reservations) the first day would be $30 something, the 2nd day would be $50 something.

My question is should I make 2 reservations or 1? If I make 2 reservations, would I need to bring the car back the next day and get another car or renewal the paperwork?

Anybody has this kind of experience?

I woouldn't book through hot wire because you don't know who you are going to get the car from and you might not beable to take it to STJ

We won't take the car to STJ. The rental car is only for the two days in STT. We have another rental in STJ for a week.
