Leaving for St Thomas this weekend and I keep checking weather.com and it looks like it's suppose to be rainy all week! Is this true? I've heard a rain shower comes thru nearly every day but this weather report looks like more rain than usual. Please tell me otherwise!

Weather .com seems to practice CYA predictions more than most. Technically, if they predict rain and it does for 10 minutes, they got it right. Statistics are a wonderful thing if you are in weather or insurance but reality rules the day.

30% chance of rain means 70% chance it won't

Don't let it bother you and remember to bring the sun screen 🙂

Aww, they always say this, just plan to get a tiny bit wet and plan to enjoy the beautiful rainbows afterwards. A little rain in Paradise is alot better than snow and crappy cold in New England in January anytime. The reports always predict daily rain- so what, it doesn't mean anything, you're well beyond hurricane season and the occasional rain is a great break from the intense sun. Forget the umbrella, bring the sunscreen like good ole' Chris says and jump in the puddles if there actually are any. If you're worried about your hair, bring a baseball cap.
